A slightly sweet and tart sandwich that goes great with tea.
Whole grain bread Almond Poppy Seed Spread:
4 oz. cream cheese (or light cream cheese), softened Combine spread ingredients in mixer. Assemble sandwiches:
Thinly slice bread (or used sliced bread). Spread a thin layer of apricot preserves on half of the slices. Spread a thin layer of Almond Poppy Seed Spread on the other half of the slices. Lay turkey slices over spread and cover with apricot preserve slice of bread. Cut sandwiches into festive fall shapes with the Autumn Cookie and Sandwich Cutter Set. |
